I’m trying to sort out the difference between fear and anxiety and thought you might be able to help me out – so please comment below!
This is what I’ve been wondering …
Is Fear a reaction from a current or past threat?
Is Anxiety a concern over what might happen in the future?
Is Fear a physiological body response (i.e. the flight piece of the fight/flight sympathetic nervous system arousal)?
Is Anxiety more in the head with troubling thoughts bubbling and broiling?
Is Fear the response to a actual threat to your survival?
Is Anxiety the response to a perceived threat to your survival?
Is Fear calmed more by body relaxation and physical activity?
Is Anxiety calmed more by writing down your thoughts, reframing them and planning future actions?
What’s your thoughts? Is there a difference between Fear and Anxiety?
